{"id":32,"date":"2019-03-04T11:46:01","date_gmt":"2019-03-04T10:46:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/talc2019.uwb.edu.pl\/?page_id=32"},"modified":"2019-09-17T19:20:51","modified_gmt":"2019-09-17T17:20:51","slug":"call-for-papers","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/talc2019.uwb.edu.pl\/index.php\/call-for-papers\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for papers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are pleased to announce the first call for papers for the 3rd Bia\u0142ystok-Kyiv Conference on Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, which will be held at the University of Bia\u0142ystok, Poland, 5-6 December 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The special theme: <a><strong><em>Language in Use: Linguistic and Pedagogical Perspectives<\/em><\/strong><\/a><strong>,<\/strong> aims to focus the attention of all scholars interested in language on its communicative meaning and the scope of its nature. In analysing these issues, we would like to combine a wide array of perspectives, including, but not limited to, cognitive linguistics, cognitive translatology, anthropolinguistics, socio- and psycholinguistics, computational linguistics and discourse analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Possible sub-themes\ninclude, but are not limited to, the following subject areas: <\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 issues in first and second language learning,<br>\u2013 language processing and language acquisition,<br>\u2013 applied cognitive linguistics,<br>\u2013 the newest trends in foreign language teaching,<br>\u2013 constructional and embodied approach to grammar,<br>\u2013 interlinguistic and intercultural pragmatics,  <br>\u2013 language and situatedness,<br>\u2013 language and identity,<br>\u2013 cognitive translatology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proposals in other relevant research areas are also welcome. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LANGUAGE OF PUBLICATION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>English<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ABSTRACT SUBMISSION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>All proposals must be original and previously unpublished. Please include an abstract as an attachment (as a doc\/docx file).
